Brightstone Ragdoll Cattery is a small Ragdoll Cattery located in the heart of Nassau County on Long Island in New York. Just thirty minutes from New York City, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and the Bronx.
We raise big, beautiful Ragdolls in our home and we love everything about them. From their sweet dispositions, deep throaty purrs, non matting soft and silky fur and gorgeous colors of seal and blue. All our cats are homebred from healthy genetic lines resulting in absolutely gorgeous, large, and breathtaking cats.
All my Ragdoll Cats and
Ragdoll Kittens are raised as part of my family, with love and pride, as well as
underfoot. I even have built my Ragdolls their own room filled with all the cat
toys and equipment they could ever want or need. I make sure that each and every
one of my Ragdolls receives individual attention and special care. I enjoy my
one on one time with them while I groom them, play catch, rub their bellies and
let them sleep in my lap while I watch TV. My little Ragdoll Kittens are a
pleasure to watch as they grow and play; especially as they learn to climb their
scratching post and cat trees.
I choose to become a Ragdoll breeder as well as Ragdoll showman because I truly love the Ragdoll breed. I started my Ragdoll Cattery with the knowledge that I wanted to show and breed healthy and solid lines of Ragdolls. My Ragdolls exhibit the larger size and personality that is the trade mark of Ragdoll Cats. My first Ragdoll Rhamee Blue, an alter, reached 20 pounds at maturity.
My Ragdoll breeding program is now sired by my own Regional Winner and Quadruple Grand Champion Brightstone Colton Jaxon Delamer the son of my own Outstanding Sire Regional Winner and Supreme Grand Champion Brightstone Baron Markee Delamer. These amazing boys have allowed me to reach my Ragdoll breeding goal of creating large Champion Ragdoll Cats. Additionally, I am focusing on breeding for genetic health and personality to ensure that the Ragdoll breed is kept within the TICA and CFA Association standards
My Ragdoll family can be found all over Long Island in Nassau County, Suffolk County, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Brooklyn, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Mississippi, Florida, and Virginia. We are also found internationally in Europe, Belgium, Latvia, Russia, China, and many other international countries. We do not ship pets but prefer a face to face choosing of your new family member. We always look forward to meeting you when you first visit to choose your kitten and when you come to pick up your new purring bundle of joy!
